West Cornwall and in particular St Ives Bay has
been blessed with crystal clear , turquoise waters and pale, soft, sandy beaches to match the best in the Meditteranean or
the Carribean.
In recognition of this, St Ives Bay has been awarded
the prestigeous 'The Most Beautiful Bays in the World' award. Porthminster and Porthmeor beaches have been awarded the Blue
Flag standard.

Porth Kidney Sands is a three minute walk down the hillside along the coast
path from Beachtop Apartment.
The apartment enjoys panoramic views over the
beach which is a mile long. The pale
sand slopes very gradually into the shallow crystal clear waters of the bay.
Porth Kidney Sands beach is not as busy as Carbis
Bay and St Ives beaches. Therefore it is the ideal getaway for those looking to relax in peace, far from the maddening
crowd.
Carbis Bay Beach is a fairly large beach with a long stretch of soft pale sand which slopes gradually into the calm waters. It has pay & display parking, public toilets, cafe, takeaway restaurant and a shop. It is ideal for families and young children. The beach is just a ten minute stroll from Beachtop Apartment. A most enjoyable walk is to follow the Coast Path
eastward along the top of the beach through the grassy dunes to the pretty village of Lelant nearbyEnter content here
