| The coastal train from St Ives to St Erth |
About a mile along
the coast from St Ives lies the quiet village of Carbis Bay. The village has a beautiful beach popular with families and offers a more sedate and spacious setting
for a holiday with ample parking, shops and amenities. Carbis Bay
affords visitors easy access to St Ives via the quaint three minute train ride. Visitors young and old love the train journey
with its beautiful views out to sea. Alternatively, for those who wish to enjoy the stunning
surroundings at a more sedate pace, a twenty minute stroll along the pretty coastal path from Carbis Bay brings you to Porthminster Beach in St Ives. We recommend following
this fabulous walk with a traditional Cornish Cream Tea!
